Renovations to make Cumulus hotels more versatile in 2012
Major reforms are continuing at Cumulus hotels. The renovations of Cumulus Turku wil be completed at the turn of 2012., the Cumulus Pori at the end of March. Also in March, renovation of the guest rooms at the Tampere Cumulus Koskikatu will be finished and the Cumulus Hyvinkää will expand with the addition of 66 new guest rooms. The Cumulus Seinäjoki expanded in summer 2011. Basic renovation of the hotel's old side will be finished in April-May.
A new Cumulus hotel in Tampre, at Rautatienkatu 21, will be completed in July. This will be the 27th Cumulus hotel, and the fourth in Tampere. Renovation of the Cumulus Lahti is ecpected to be ready in late summer. Thanks to the renovation, the guest rooms and the lobby will have a completely new look, and the entrance to the hotel will be transferred to the Kauppakatu side. The end of the year will see renovation of the Cumulus Hämeenpuisto Tampere and the Cumulus Kaisaniemi in Helsinki, whose hotel rooms will be done over to give them a new, modern appearance. The Cumulus Kaisaniemi will also be extended by adding 19 new guest rooms.
